How do I enter?
To enter, post a video (reel) to your Instagram account with the applicable category hashtag on Instagram, and proper mention of @WellaEducation. Then, submit your entry via form on our website.

Where do I put my entry hashtags?
Official contest hashtags must be in the caption, not in the comments section. Please include @wellaeducation in addition to your hashtag.
What am I being judged on?
30%: Color and cut choice and suitability to the models features, face shape, skin tone, and eye color.
40%: Quality of the execution, suitability and overall beauty of the color, hair quality, condition and shine.
30%: Overall finished look color, cut, styling in line with the TrendVision trend (Digital Prism).
Who can participate in the competition?
The competition is open to hairstylists and beauty professionals from the U.S., Canada, and Puerto Rico. Other requirements are that you are not a Wella Company employee, have a cosmetology license or are enrolled in beauty school, are eighteen (18) years of age, or the legal age of majority or older in the state or territory in which you reside.
Can I enter using a mannequin head?
No, only entries using real models will be considered for the Finalist round.
How many times can I enter per category?
You can enter as many times as you want. All entry work must be created by you within the last 12 months and posted on Instagram between 3/1/2025 and 7/1/2025.
How does the finalist selection process work?
There will be no semi-final round. Instead, three finalists per category will be chosen, and winners will be selected from these finalists.
Can competitors be finalists in more than one category?
Yes, competitors may be eligible to be a Finalist in more than one category.
Is there a live event for this competition?
There is no live North American event, but two winners will advance to a live global event to compete on an international stage as part of Global Trend Vision.
For Canadian competitors, can apprentices enter?
Yes they can. They must be within 2 years of graduating from cosmetology school.
Can I use any hair product/color to enter?
Entrants are only permitted to use Wella’s portfolio of products and will be required to share which products were used and must be shown being used in the video submission and form.
What are the prizes this year?
2025 North American TrendVision Awards Winners will receive:

If I win, will my travel + stay be covered for the Certification class?
No, Wella will only be covering the cost of the Studio Certification (valued up to $6,510 USD), winners will be responsible for:
Transportation to, during, or from stay/Wella Studio
Flights
Hotel
Meals (Lunch and snacks will be covered during seminars)
